Hello Gemmanarians!Well, basically I'm here today to ask all of you, if you guys would like a class outing during the upcoming June holidays. It would be a very good chance for all of us to bond together, I hope everyone will be sporty and all :D
To make life easier, there's a poll right below the tagboard. Please vote.
More details about the places:East Coast Park: We'll probably be bowling, rollerblading (or cycling), playing at the beach, etc. If we decide on this, we'll then discuss what to do because there's no playground and etc, like there is in Pasir Ris Park. It'll probably be from about 12 (We'll straightaway have lunch somewhere, probably at mac, before going to play) to about 5? Yeah, will discuss too.
Pasir Ris Park: I think the best place here is obviously the playground, but likewise, we'll discuss what to do as well. Probably similar to that of East Coast Park, about 12 to 5. Discussion will be held.
Movies: We'll all have to bring our own money for lunch, movie tickets, personal uses etc. $20 will be more than enough, but girls who are neoprint crazy will have to bring more. Hehe. There'll be many suggestions on where to go if we decide on movies, but I think it'd be best if it's somewhere in the center district of Singapore, to make it fair. However, I'd suggest either Bugis, Tampines or Jurong Point. The problem's that they're all at far ends of Singapore. 12pm (or 11am) to about 6pm? Discussion will be held.
Escape Theme Park: I think this will be the best place, there's really many things to do. But it's kind of natural for parents to be worried about their child's safety, so yeah. Will have to pay for their own tickets, lunch, snacks etc. About $20-30, not sure about this. Is 11am to 6pm okay? We'll discuss, alright?
Wild Wild Wet: From past experiences many people will be paiseh to be seen in their swimsuits, especially girls (will show their fats). No offence and not saying you girls have a lot of fats. Hehe. But it's a fun place too. Will have to pay for your own tickets and lunch, etc. Bring about $20-30 as well. 11am to 6pm? Discussion will be held.
Chalet: All of you will have to chip in to book the chalet, but it's rather last minute thing so I think if we ever manage to book a chalet it'll be like late June holidays. Last 2 weeks or something close to that. All of you will have to chip in to book the chalet, as well as to buy the food. I think the treasurer should be in charge of this. And as for snacks, I hope all of you will bring snacks to contribute. Overnight stays are welcome. I personally recommend the SAFRA chalet, because there's a pick-up bus from Tanah Merah MRT directly to the chalet. Very convenient for those without transport. Also, there's bowling, pool (I mean the one where you hit 9 balls into holes using a stick), swimming pool, arcade, etc. Have mini-restaurant too. Also there's cycling (can rent bike in the chalet), a basketball court, many more. Lots of things to do. Obviously there's 2 seperate rooms for boys and girls. Oh and from the room window you can climb out onto the roof. Haha just make sure you don't drop down. Not sure how much you will have to bring, depends on what you do. EG you stay in the chalet and sleep obviously you don't have to bring any money. But I think $20 (Per day! If you're staying overnight you'll be needing more money because it'll have to last you for like 2 days?) should be enough. Discussion will be held.
Others: Suggestions welcome at the tagboard.
Don't go: Gemmanarians! Be more sporty, alright?
You can vote for more than 1, but please don't vote for all because that's equivalent to not voting for anything -.- I set the poll to being able to vote more than 1 of the following because some of you might want to go for more than 1 of the choices (Although there's only going to be 1 outing, so sorry!)
Also, you only can vote once a week.
Please vote wisely (: Will be confirmed probably by the end of week 10. Or latest, first week of the June holidays.
Thank you.
