Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2007
Dear students,
The school will be celebrating the Mid-autumn Festival on 21st September 2007 in school, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The highlights of the celebration will include the opening ceremony at the parade square, exciting performances by our Guzheng Ensemble and Chinese society, mooncake making, pomelo peeling competition, games and many more.
Students are advised to have their dinner before attending the celebration and are also strongly encouraged to bring along their own lanterns.
Each class is to send 3 representatives to participate in mooncake making and pomelo peeling competition. The mooncake making session will be held in Dunman High School Hostel at Tanjong Rhu Road and requires 2 students to participate from each class. The 2 students will be released at 12.15pm for lunch before proceeding to the hostel at 1245pm. Transport will be provided to and fro and dinner will be provided for them. The pomelo peeling competition will be held during the celebration and will require 1 student's participation.
