DHS RECYCLING PROGRAMME 2008
interclass recycling competition for year1 to year 4.
this competition would be part of the class league for all four levels.
there are TWO parts in this competition.
PART A [term 1 week 5 to week 10]
1. decorate the recycling box and bring it to the foyer on wednesday, 13th february 08, for judging.
2. CIP rep to encourage the recycling of paper and be responsible to empty the box when the need arises.
3. at the end of term 1, the recycling box must be in good condition, otherwise marks will be deducted [determined by judges]
total: 50%
PART B [term 1 week 7 to week 9]
1. CIP rep to take note of good recycling attitudes and record them in the recycling journal and endorsed by form teacher or any other sunject teacher
2. journals to be submitted to Mrs Koh Swee Ling at the end of week 9 [1st march 08]
3. form teachers and subject teachers can instruct CIP rep to record poor attitudes towards recycling and 2% would be deducted for each record D:
total: 50%
overall total: 100%
criteria for decoration of Recycling Box:
1. use of recycled materials 30% [only recycled materials allowed anws o.O]
2. aesthetic appeal 20%
3. originality 20%
4. relevance 20%
5. durability 10%
total: 100%
project theme: seasons.
year two: summer
duration: 16 days
commences on the 28th January 2008
